Studies on the Elgari (Korean Method of Chinese Cabbage Cultivation in Winter .)

Abstract
In this experiment, the chemical compositions have been investigated after spraying gibberellin under the Korean method of Chinese cabbage cultivation in winter.
1. The results of the growth investigation was that gibberellin treated plots have been promoted by gibberellin slightly more than control. However, it was not statistically significant,
2. The gibberellin treated plots showed higher content of water, crude fat and crude protein than that of control.
3. The content of ash and nitrogen free extracts was lower in the treated plots than control.
4. During the period of growth, early stage plants had more percentage of fat, ash and nitrogen free extracts than latter stage plants.
5. Water and crude protein contents were higher in the latter period of growth than the first stage of growth.
6. Gibberellin treated plots had lower saccharide contents of glucose, fluctose, galactose, arabinose and xylose than control but, in periodical content, the latter stage of growth had more content than the first period of growth.
